| Named licenses | Are assigned to a single account-name and may only be used by this account. Each account with a named license may only be logged in once at the same time. Named licenses are always available for the assigned account and guarantee a login for the user. Changing the assigned license from one to another account is possible and will not be charged. | |||
| Floating licenses | May be shared between an unlimited numbers of users and are not assigned to a specific account name. The number of installed floating licenses is the maximum possible number of users (without own named licenses) working with the server at the same time. Floating licenses are locked by an account unless the user logs out or the session timed out. | |||
| Thin users | Can view the reports via the instantOLAP web-interface and export them to different formats as pdf, excel or csv. | |||
| Power users | Have all the capabilities of “thin users” and may additionally use the online query-editor, and collaboration- features. | |||
| Extension xmla | The extension “xmla” for Power users allows to use further xmla-capable clients, for example EXCEL, and is a complete add-on of our WEB – portal. | |||
| Administrators | Have all the capabilities of “power users” and may additionally use the instantOLAP Workbench to administrate the system and create configurations. At least one administrator license is mandatory for each instantOLAP-server! | |||
